Copper Plumbing Pipe

Copper Plumbing Pipe is considered to be more reliable than the plastic pipes and tubes. They are leak proof, durable and require minimum maintenance and hence are cost saving and advantageous over any other material.

Advantages of copper plumbing Leakproof :
  • Completely leak proof, copper pipes require no threading
  • Owing to the corrosion resistant property of copper, our copper plumbing are resistant to corrosion and hence the water carried through the pipes also do not brown as it does in the case of Galvanized Iron Pipes
  • Our copper plumbing pipes are easy to install via soldering/ brazing process
  • Our quality copper plumbing system has a longer & durable life. They last upto 50 years
Mexflow, Hygiene in Life :
Mexflow pipes are eco-friendly, recyclable, non-toxic copper pipes and offer purest form of water. These pipes will take you away from toxic and non- degradable plastic to a more hygienic and healthy life. Some of its advantages include:
  • Resistant to weather and bacteria, and are competitively priced
  • These plumbings do not reveal that there is a pipe carrying water underneath it
  • Advantageous over plastic, as they are extremely durable and flexible to install, safer in case of natural disasters

Copper Pipe for Medical Gas Pipeline

Mehta Tubes Ltd. offers Mexflow Copper Pipes for medical gas piping that can withstand high pressure and corrosion. These pipes are extremely durable, easy to install and meet the various standards for medical gas piping applications. These copper gas pipes offer a seamless fit and are brazed together to form a gas-tight. The Mexflow copper pipes are 100% safe, require less maintenance and offer trouble free performance for years. These pipes meet the international standards.

Medical gas pipeline system for hospitals :
Now-a-days a centralized MGPS system is required by all hospitals. It is mandatory in critical places like OT, ICU. CCU and Nursery etc. Mexflow gas pipelines is advantageous over conventional gas cylinders, specially in life saving situations as it is more reliable and ensure a never-ending supply of oxygen or vacuum helping clinician/caregiver to save their patients without concern.

Mexflow meets the mandatory inspection requirements :

Chemical composition :
Made of maximum copper and silver (99.90%) and phosphorous ( min. 0.015%. and max 0.040%).

Carbon Content Test :
Carbon content on the inner surface of the copper tubes and fittings are determined using window based softwares.

Tensile strength :
Tested for its tensile strength and other norms of the industry. Mexflow pipes are the best in the industry.

Non Destructive test :
Tested for local defects by Eddy current test only. We are the only manufacturer of this category (Medical) of tubes.

Copper Tubes for Automobile Industries

The industrial copper tubes and copper pipes that we manufacture for the automobile industry has certain advantages over other metals. Copper had been proved since the early days to have many good attributes. It is easy to bend and has very high corrosion resistance.

Copper's inherent superiority in thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and strength has made it a preferred primary metal for radiators since the dawn of cars and trucks. Now, with new technologies, it can be used to make smaller, lighter and stronger copper radiators. These radiators will be far more environmentally friendly because they are lead free and easier and cleaner to produce.

Additional increased copper content results from a number of accessories being electric instead of hydraulic. Power steering and braking are achieved electrically. The efficiency and performance of these two technologies make them candidates for installation on internal combustion vehicles in the near future. Heating and air conditioning are also achieved electrically and in some cases with a heat pump.

Electric Vehicles and even hybrid Electric Vehicles will use approximately twice as much copper as a conventional vehicles and this will provide the added advantage of excellent recyclability when the vehicle is removed from service.

Copper Tubes for Marine Applications

Our industrial copper tubes and copper pipes can be widely utilized in the design of seawater systems for their excellent resistance to corrosion and biofouling and many other excellent properties. Copper corrodes at negligible rates in unpolluted air, water, and deaerated nonoxidizing acids. Copper alloy artifacts have been found in nearly pristine condition after having been buried in the earth for thousands of years, and copper roofing in rural atmospheres has been found to corrode at rates of less than 0.4 mm in 200 years.

Copper alloys resist many saline solutions, alkaline solutions, and organic chemicals. However, copper is susceptible to more rapid attack in oxidizing acids, oxidizing heavy-metal salts, sulfur, ammonia (NH3), and some sulfur and NH3 compounds.

Copper is widely used in applications like freshwater and seawater supply lines, heat exchangers, condensers, shafting, valve stems, and marine hardware - in which resistance to seawater, hydrated salt deposits, and biofouling from marine organisms is important.
