Pipes / Tubes made of copper are typically recommended for gas line installation. Why? The main reason is the fact that copper is a malleable metal which can stretch without damage. It is very important issue for systems working in high temperatures.                   

Copper Pipes / Tubes are often recommended for Gas Pipelines as they are strong, corrosion-resistant, and non-toxic. Able to tolerate pressures of up to 1,000 psi, this pipe material can last up to 70 years. Rust and corrosion are not a problem with copper piping because it doesn't contain iron.
